6 Reasons Why You Should Watch Paradise Kiss

    1. Peculiar beginning. I’ve been watching anime since I was a kid and ParaKiss is one of those few anime that I’ve seen that has peculiar beginning. I’m not saying that the beginning of the story is confusing, ‘cause it’s not. The story began with a narration with strange wordings. Together with this narration is a clip that shows photograph of everyday life scenes inJapan, and in those photos are moving animals, aliens and others, moving around. It’s really hard to describe so you really have to watch it.

    2. Gorgeous drawings. For male viewers don’t ever think it’s gay. The drawing of the characters is good and the attires of the characters even greater. This anime is an anime about fashion modeling so the clothes are really finely drawn. Your eyes will enjoy this experience. It’s tested after all, we humans are lovers of beauty and this anime has beauty written all over it.

    3. Play-list worth songs. This anime have amazing soundtracks! You’ll catch the epic ‘last song syndrome’ with this one. Watch out for the opening song with the title of ‘Lonely in Gorgeous’ and the epic ending theme ‘Do you Want to’ by Franz Ferdinand. You’ll love it.
    4. Realistic. Finally another anime with a realistic theme! ParaKiss’ edge with other anime is that it is closer to the reality. It is therefore a good change if you are only watching pure fantasy anime lately. ParaKiss’ impact to the psyche is enormous because it is realistic. You might even be able to relate with the story. The plot is very nice with a neat conflict that will really torture you emotionally but in a good way. Another good thing with ParaKiss, since it’s realistic, you will learn so many moral lessons.
    5. It’s short. Twelve episodes and that’s it. It’s brief and complete. You know how tiring it is to follow a long anime, it’s a big pain. So if you’ve been a slave to long animes try watching short but meaningful ones like ParaKiss. The good thing about short animations is it gives you time to move on.
    6. Well thought ending. The ending is just amazing. However debates are going om about the ending. Some say it sucks some swear it’s good. But if you really want to find out of it’s good or not then watch it and decide it for yourself. But for me it is one of the best ending ever created for anime. If ever you already seen the anime and still believes that the ending is nonsense then read the next article below. If you haven’t seen it though don’t read the article below, it would be a big spoiler for you!

5 Reasons Why Paradise Kiss’ Ending is Very Good

(Warning: spoiler)

    1. It’s reality. Believe it or not your first boyfriend might most of the time, not be your future husband.
    2. It was all planned by George.Yes indeed my friends, George planned for the relationship to happen. It might not be directly said in the anime but it was clearly shown through George actions. If George didn’t make any attachment with Caroline, she will never model for Paradise Kiss. George is smart, he definitely knows that Caroline is naïve and has no experience with love and boys, and George being a born Casanova took advantage of these. Well maybe he get to really like Caroline in the end, because we all know that he cried (not really cried but technically there were tears in his eyes so, it’s ‘cried’) when he and Caroline parted ways. It was also shown that he trusted her, ‘cause he gave the Paradise Kiss dresses to her. Yet still it was planned. If it wasn’t he would marry her no matter what!

    3. George loves someone else. George is in love with Kaoru. There’s no question with that. He knows her and he said it himself that she is special. Another thing is that he admires her so much and that he respects her. He even said it to himself that he and Kaoru never made love with each other, he doesn’t want Caroline thinking badly of Kaoru because Kaoru “is not that kind of girl” (quoted from George himself). As for Kaoru I think she likes George too, she is just disciplined and determined to reach her goals first.
    4. Caroline’s feelings are fraud. Caroline doesn’t really love George. She thought she love George. There is actually a study about this. That when you are single since birth, no experience at all, you tend to fall for the first person who show affection of interest to you, and that exactly what happened to Caroline. It’s not love really because the concept of love is definite and pure. Caroline felt what psychologist called manic love. It’s really more on infatuation with stupidity. The relationship is actually more on lust.
    5.  It is all for the good.Just imagine the two of them together. As a real couple and married. Definitely a disaster. In truth they don’t agree much on each other. They are only in tune when they are in bed. Definitely the relationship would be a disaster and will end up with a divorce. So in the end it is really for the good of everybody. The ending is indeed well thought and I love it!
